Michigan Gaming Control Board Cracks Down on Illegal Offshore Gambling Websites
The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has recently taken decisive action against 11 illegal offshore gambling websites that were operating in direct violation of Michigan law. These websites include popular platforms like Bet Big Dollar Casino, Blood Moon Casino, and Jumba Bet Casino, among others. The MGCB issued cease-and-desist letters to these operators, ordering them to immediately stop their operations in the state.
Violations of Michigan Laws
All 11 offshore operators were found to be offering unlicensed gambling services, which is a direct violation of the Lawful Internet Gaming Act, the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, and the Michigan Penal Code. MGCB Executive Director Henry Williams emphasized the importance of maintaining a fair, safe, and lawful gaming environment for all Michigan residents.
