Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City Announces $50 Million Investment for 2025
Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, has revealed plans for over $50 million in property-wide capital investments set for 2025. These new developments are part of a larger seven-year, $270 million transformation project that the luxury casino-resort has been working on since its establishment in 2018.
Expanding Offerings
The investment includes the addition of more than 500 new Blu Rooms and Suites, a casino expansion, five new dining options, and enhanced beachfront activities. Currently, the resort boasts live entertainment, stunning ocean views, nearly 2,000 state-of-the-art slot machines, 130 table games, and Fanatics Sportsbook.
Bill Callahan, General Manager for Ocean Casino Resort, expressed excitement about the ongoing enhancements, stating, “Ocean continues to invest in property upgrades to provide an unparalleled guest experience not just in Atlantic City, but across the nation.”
New Ocean Blu Rooms & Suites
The resort is investing $25 million to revamp all 1,860 guest rooms and suites. In recent years, Ocean introduced renovated Blu Rooms and Suites on 12 floors, with more than 700 rooms and suites unveiled in 2023 and 2024. The design of the new accommodations is inspired by the colors and patterns of the shoreline, offering a calming atmosphere with beach-inspired décor.
The newly built suites will feature elevated interior finishes and additional amenities such as a dining area, wet bar, and lounge seating for guests.
Collaboration with Stephen Starr
Two new dining concepts in partnership with STARR Restaurants and Stephen Starr will be introduced at Ocean Casino Resort. LaScala’s Fire will serve classic Italian American cuisine, while Blend will offer nutritious smoothies and acai bowls. The restaurants are expected to open this summer.
Asian Gaming Expansion
Ocean Casino Resort will double the size of its Asian Gaming space by summer 2025, offering 32 gaming tables including Mini Baccarat and Pai Gow Poker. The expansion, valued at $4 million, aims to cater to the growing Asian gaming market.
Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar
Later this summer, Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar will open as a new entertainment destination for visitors of all ages.
